RACE 2 ROAM is a nonprofit offering a safe home for thoroughbred horses who have left the racetrack. Our farm in Shenandoah Junction, “Alemar”, West Virginia, welcomes retired or injured horses and protects them from an uncertain future.
•ADOPT a HORSE - We rescue and give temporarily care to thoroughbred with the goal of placing the best of them in permanent ownership/adoption.
•SPONSOR a HORSE- A monthly donation of $250 covers grain, hay, farrier, and veterinary bill and make a difference in the life of 1 retired thoroughbred. By setting up an ongoing monthly donation you will make a difference and support Race 2 Roam and its horses.
•VOLUNTEER- Give your time at Alemar Farm to Race 2 Roam for the love of horses.
